Our Founder
Lanamara was founded by Marika Gazzard — a designer, stylist, and creative director with a lifelong appreciation for craftsmanship, personal style, and the emotional weight of objects well made.
The daughter of a dressmaker, Marika grew up surrounded by textiles, needlework, and the rhythm of hands shaping beauty from scratch. Her instinct for layering, mixing, and styling began early — blending the refined with the relaxed, the meaningful with the unexpected. That sensibility remains at the heart of Lanamara.
Established in her mid-40s, Lanamara is a brand shaped not by urgency, but by intention. Rooted in Marika’s love of global craft, vintage design, and the ritual of adornment, each piece is created to hold meaning — for the woman who wears it, and for the hands that made it.
