The Founder’s Wish List

This season, our founder Marika shares her personal favourites for gifting and receiving — pieces that embody the Lanamara spirit of simplicity, beauty, and connection, with herself and with others.

 'I've recently taken up some longer hikes and these waterproof Salomon sneakers are the perfect shade of chocolate. Hiking gives me space to clear my mind and connect with nature.

I have a bit of an obsession with hand crafted Italian ceramics and love anything by Alex & Trahanas, so I'm adding this fruit bowl stand to my wish list.

Our Etoile Cuff is such a unique and timeless piece, I'm gifting one to my mum as they'll look great with her other Lanamara jewellery and stacked with other fine jewellery she wears.

 I get so much inspiration from interiors and Tamsin Johnson is just so good at the juxstaposition of colour and texture. Her book 'Spaces for Living' makes the list for a close girlfriend to enjoy some slower moments for herself. 

I'm after a cute ballet flat to wear with everything this summer and this pair of woven raffia with tan leather trim by Ancient Greek Sandals are perfection. All their shoes are handmade in Greece by skilled craftsmen using traditional techniques that have existed for centuries.

Finally my sister loves adding to her wall art and this collection of prints from Carla Llanos have such a lovely homely feel so I'll be adding one of these to her list.'
